Palms Merkur Royale Casino is the most prestigious casino in Bulgaria, located within the luxurious Grand Hotel Millennium Sofia. The casino offers a wide range of services, including live events, show programs, poker rooms, restaurants, hotel and spa facilities, gaming halls, online games, exclusive packages, and VIP privileges. The client approached the design agency where I was part of the creative team to redesign their official website and reflect the casino’s upscale brand identity online. The project was coordinated by a project manager, ensuring smooth collaboration and alignment with client expectations.
The main challenge was to create a website that would effectively showcase the full spectrum of services while maintaining a luxurious, clear, and user-friendly interface. The site needed to balance visual appeal with usability, guiding visitors through diverse offerings such as live events, poker tournaments, restaurant menus, hotel and spa bookings, gaming halls, online games, and exclusive packages. Additionally, the design had to communicate prestige, sophistication, and trust, appealing to both casual visitors and high-end clientele.
Within the agency team, I led the UI/UX design efforts for the project. I focused on creating a clean, modern interface that highlighted the casino’s luxury experience while ensuring intuitive navigation across multiple service areas. By emphasizing clear information architecture, visual hierarchy, and engaging design elements, I crafted a user experience that allows visitors to quickly find relevant information, explore services, and enjoy immersive content. Close collaboration with the project manager ensured the design met both client expectations and operational requirements.
The redesigned website successfully presents Palms Merkur Royale Casino as a premier entertainment destination. Visitors can seamlessly explore live events, poker rooms, hotel and spa services, restaurants, gaming halls, online games, and exclusive packages. The UI communicates sophistication and luxury, while the UX ensures effortless navigation across complex offerings. This project demonstrates how a comprehensive redesign can elevate a high-profile client’s digital presence and reinforce their brand identity.
