In 2021, Grand Hotel Bansko approached the design agency where I was part of the creative team. The client’s website was outdated and confusing for visitors, creating friction in the booking process and limiting visibility of the hotel’s services. The project was coordinated by a project manager, ensuring smooth communication with the client and a structured workflow.
The main issue was poor navigation. Users struggled to move seamlessly through the site, often abandoning their journey before reaching the booking stage or discovering the hotel’s full offerings. The goal was a complete redesign that combined structural clarity, usability, and modern visual appeal.
Within the agency, I was responsible for the full design process, collaborating closely with the project manager who oversaw workflow and client communication. I created a detailed and logically connected sitemap to ensure clarity and flow, then developed a modern and clean UI that balanced functionality with aesthetics. Each page was designed to provide an engaging and intuitive user experience, while following the project plan and timeline managed by the PM.
The redesigned website makes booking rooms intuitive, showcases the hotel’s range of services, and gives visitors a clear reason to choose Grand Hotel Bansko for their vacation. The redesign transformed a fragmented experience into a seamless, user-friendly journey with a strong digital presence.
